Terms and Conditions
These terms govern access to and use of the TicoQuickBooks website, OAuth endpoints, token storage workflows, and API-key-protected access-token retrieval service.
Service scope
TicoQuickBooks provides a narrow technical service for QuickBooks Online authentication across multiple company connections. The service is intended to start OAuth flows, store token records, refresh tokens when needed, and return current access tokens to authorized internal callers.
User responsibilities
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks app credentials, redirect URIs, company keys, and environment configuration.
- Protect API keys, deployment credentials, and any downstream systems that consume returned access tokens.
- Use the service only for authorized business purposes and only with QuickBooks companies you are permitted to access.
- Review operational behavior when changing OAuth settings, infrastructure, or token-storage configuration.
Third-party dependencies
TicoQuickBooks depends on QuickBooks Online, Intuit OAuth endpoints, AWS infrastructure, and related network services. The service is not responsible for outages, delays, token invalidation, or unexpected behavior caused by third-party platforms, expired app credentials, or changes in external API behavior.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access another company connection without authorization, or misuse returned tokens.
- Do not use the service to store unrelated secrets or application data beyond the intended QuickBooks auth workflow.
- Do not interfere with service availability, integrity, or operational logging.
Disclaimer and limitation
TicoQuickBooks is a technical integration service and not a substitute for accounting, legal, tax, or compliance advice. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-available basis and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from configuration mistakes, third-party outages, or misuse of tokens by downstream systems.
Governing law and contact
These terms are intended to be interpreted in line with the laws of Costa Rica unless another governing-law framework applies by contract or deployment context. For questions about these terms, use your existing TicoSync or internal operator contact channel.
